My Sewing Machine!

Since this is my first blog post , I struggled as to where to begin. I decided I would talk about my sewing machine, which I have only had since early February.
I had a Juki F300 that was wonderful , and I had it less than a year. That is when I fell in love with the Juki.  Once I saw this new one they were coming out with, I just HAD to have it.
The features that stood out to me were:
* It will cut and raise the presser foot automatically once finished sewing a seam.
* When you get to a corner, it lifts the presser foot slightly, making moving the piece of fabric easier.
* the Float function. For quilts it is amazing! It makes sewing through thicknesses a breeze with nice even seams.

I'm sure there is more to it that I love, but that is what really got me about this machine.  This machine has been great so far. I had an issue with thread tension and it baffled me. My F300 had no tension issues at all. I recently fixed this issue  very simply.  All it was , was that I had to tighten a screw in the bobbin case.  It had gotten loosened somehow, possibly during shipping. It sews perfectly now, This machine sews beautifully through thicknesses! As long as you go slower, you are good !  The buttonholes are absolutely amazing. They come out beautifully and look SO professional!  There are 16 types of buttonholes on this machine.  For knits, decorative, etc.

The needle threader on this machine has been the BEST! You can thread it with one hand! Not Kidding!

This machine also has a Straight stitch slide plate. If you are just doing straight stitches it really helps to use this! Beautiful stitches, and if you are sewing with thinner fabrics it's definitely a must!

If you sew with different patterned stitches parallel to each other you can create lace like patterns.

I could go on and on about this machine. I LOVE it and highly recommend it.

I purchased mine from Sewing Machines Plus, and they were great!
